A Finnish sauna, made by a Finn.

Nórdika began as a habit, not a business plan. Finland has more saunas than cars, and the sauna is where you get to know people. We brought it to Medellín as it is: the wood, the heat, the cold and the conversation.

Authentic

Thermally treated Finnish pine, Harvia heaters and the ritual as it is done in Finland: dry heat at 80–90 °C, löyly on the stones, then the cold, then the rest.

Made for the body

Every session keeps Finnish timings: heat rounds of 10 to 15 minutes, cold water between 6 and 10 °C and rests for the body to recover. You leave lighter than you came in.

Made for people

Thirty people, no phones in the heat, and a host who introduces the ones who haven't met. Friendships, partnerships and projects start here.

From people who have been up here

I grew up with a sauna by the lake. This is the first one outside Finland that smells the way it should.

Anneli K.From Helsinki, lives in Medellín

I came for the sauna and stayed for the people. Half my friends in this city, I met up here.

James T.Member since 2025

I've slept better since the first week. The contrast with the cold water is nothing like anything I've tried at a spa.

Laura G.Comes twice a week

I brought my team on a Thursday. Nobody looked at their phone for ninety minutes.

What a session is like

  1. Nórdika's rooftop by day, with a wooden barrel sauna and Medellín's mountains beyond

    Arrive

Leave the noise downstairs and step into calm. We welcome you and walk you through the ritual.

  2. Inside a pine Finnish sauna, with a stone stove and a wooden bucket

    Finnish sauna

The heat opens your pores, loosens your muscles and clears your head.

  3. A wooden cold plunge on Nórdika's rooftop at dusk

    Cold plunge

The cold wakes your senses, gets your circulation going and gives your body its energy back.

  4. Nórdika's rooftop at sunset, with warm lights and wooden saunas

    Rest

Recharge and let it settle. Then start again: heat, cold, rest.

Frequently asked questions

How long is each session?

Each session is 90 minutes. Arrive within the first 15 minutes from your session's start time; your booking confirmation gives you the exact window.

How and when do I book?

Right here: choose how you are coming, see the times with places left up to 21 days ahead, pick your session and pay. Each session has limited capacity and every visit needs a booking, so book early.

What should I bring?

A swimsuit and sandals. We provide the towel, fruit and hydration. Your booking confirmation reminds you.

Is Nordika suitable for first-time sauna guests?

Absolutely. Our team will give you a brief orientation and help you enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. From My sessions, add your guest to your booking with their name and phone number. Unlimited Members get 2 guest passes each month. Otherwise, use one of your own visits or pay $60.000 COP for a guest visit. Each guest takes a place in the session.

Which package should I choose?

A Single Visit is for trying Nordika, valid for 60 days. The Flex 4 suits occasional visits (valid for 45 days), and the Flex 10 + 2 gives you twelve visits for the price of ten over 90 days. If you'll come 6 or more times a month, Unlimited is the best value: 30 days of unlimited sessions, with guest passes.

What happens if I arrive late or need to reschedule?

Arrive within the first 15 minutes of your session; after that we can't guarantee your place, and the session still ends on time. If your plans change, move your session to another time or cancel it from My sessions up to 24 hours before; your visit moves with it or returns to your account. Inside 24 hours the visit counts as used, but write to us anyway and we'll see what we can do.

What are the opening hours?

We are open every day, Monday to Sunday, 09:00 to 21:00, with seven 90-minute sessions a day. Before 5 pm it is light service; from 5 to 9 pm it is full service, with four saunas, two cold plunges and a hot tub. Every visit needs a booking.

How much does the sauna cost?

A visit costs $80.000 COP and includes 90 minutes of sauna, cold plunge, towel, fruit and hydration. Packs lower the price per visit, and unlimited membership is $450.000 COP a month. Groups of 6 or more get a per-person price. All prices include tax.

What is a Finnish sauna?

A wooden room heated to 80–90 °C by a stove full of stones. Every so often water is thrown on the stones (the löyly) and a wave of steam rises. In Finland the heat alternates with cold water and rest, and it is done together: as much a social ritual as a wellbeing one.

What does alternating heat and cold feel like?

The heat relaxes your muscles and loosens your head; the cold water wakes you up at once; the rest leaves a calm, light feeling that lasts for hours. If you have a heart condition or high blood pressure, or are pregnant, check with your doctor before coming.

Do you have discount days?

Yes. On Wednesdays and Sundays from 5 pm women go in free; before five they pay the ordinary rate. Booking is required, as for every visit: choose your session under Women’s day and the confirmation arrives by email. Men pay the ordinary rate.
